DAILY ACTIVITIES
Each day at the Museum, various activities are available within exhibit areas, including play for toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children! Wonderworks daily activities are drop-in and are included with Museum membership or admission.
Our signature exhibits include: Art Area, Builders Workshop, Farm House, Vet Clinic, Train Station, Puppet Show, Grocery Store, Cafe, Reading Nook, Imagination Station Giant Foam Blocks, Cars and Gas Station, and large indoor playset.

Spring is in the air, and we’re celebrating with the cutest event of the season—Chick & Bunny Day! Bring the whole family for a day full of fluffy fun, adorable animals, and unforgettable memories.
🐥 Petting Zoo – Get up close and personal with baby chicks, bunnies
📸 Photo Sessions – Capture the sweetest moments with your favorite furry friends! Perfect for springtime keepsakes. These Mini-photo shoots with Sweet Potato Photography include pictures with the animals for $25 (15-minute slot and 2 photo prints).
🎨 Kids’ Activities – Fun crafts and more!

3rd Annual Touch A-Truck Fundraiser Event
Our annual Touch-A-Truck event & fundraiser is back for 2025! Explore big trucks and unique vehicles from our community. Kids of all ages can get an up-close look and even sit in the driver’s seat while learning about various trade industries. Join us to meet firefighters, talk to a first responder, and hear from numerous community organizations that will be on hand to provide education and hands-on safety demonstrations for families. In 2024, Touch-A-Truck brought in over 850 attendees!

BookMobile Thursdays
Every Thursday at 11:15 am, The Dalles Wasco County Library Bookmobile will be at Wonderworks. The Bookmobile will be open for browsing, holds/pickup, and library card registration…anyone interested in books is welcome!

Music With Margaret
Every Thursday at 10 am, Margaret brings us music, movement, stories, and play! This interactive class features musical instruments, props, and reading aloud. The program is drop-in and is included with museum membership or admission!

Kids Yoga
Imagination Yoga is teaching FREE kids yoga classes at Wonderworks! This playful yoga class is designed for kids to learn yoga poses, breathing and relaxation techniques to calm the mind, and increase flexibility. The classes are free for members and those with museum day passes.

Winter Wonderland with the Snow Sisters
In February 2025 we had a blast during our Winter Wonderland play day. Over 100 people showed up to meet the snow sisters and take photos! We are working on another fun event - dates to be determined.
Details: Free event for Wonderworks members and $5 per person for non-members (infants are free). Mini-photo shoots with Sweet Potato Photography that includes pictures with the princesses for $20 (10-minute slot and 2 photo prints).

Halloween Fun
We love to celebrate Halloween! Each year we do games, prizes, sensory play, crafts, costumes, themed activities, and a scavenger hunt! Our party celebrations are included with museum membership or admission.

Christmas Celebration with The Grinch & Cindy Lou
The Grinch & Cindy Lou-Who love stopping by Wonderworks each Christmas on their way to Whoville - bringing with them games, prizes, sensory play, crafts, and themed activities! Our party celebrations are included with museum membership or admission.
